As a Travel Advisor, you’ll build yourself a business arranging holiday bookings that are supplied to you via Teletext and internet listings – in fact we’ll supply all your leads. You could even specialise in cruise holidays if that’s your interest – in fact, we’ve a variety of business models to suit most people’s needs. New media – satellite/digital TV, the internet and mobile phones – has made home shopping the preferred choice for millions of customers, and this is where you capitalise. Because you’ll be working from a state-of-the-art travel agency in your own home, fully equipped and ready to provide your customers with the very latest information, the best possible deals and unrivalled personal service. All they need to do is pick up the phone and call you, or send you an email. It’s smooth, it’s simple, and customers love the special feeling they get from your personal touch – and the reassurance of knowing you’re protected by ABTA and ATOL.
You’ll need at least two years’ ABTA sales experience gained over the last five years. And you’ll need excellent customer service skills. More than that, though, you’ll need passion, determination, organisation, the will to succeed and the ability to work a minimum of thirty hours a week full-time, or twenty hours part-time.
